Nazarbaug Palace is another palace that was built by the Gaekwads. This palace is known for the gold and silver guns that weigh more than 100 Kgs. The palace also features Sheesh Mahal that is known for its windows and tile work. The palace is believed to have contained jewels that belonged to the Gaekwads and have a market worth of more than $100 million.
Maharaja Fateh Singh Museum is another place of interest that is situated in the Lakshmi Vilas Palace. This building is known for the objects and artefacts that belonged to the Royal family of Gaekwads.
Kirti Mandir is a popular temple that was built the Gaekwad Empire. The temple is known for the sculptures of sun, moon and earth that are made completely of bronze. The sculptures are placed on the shikhara of the temple.
Khanderao Market is a palatial building that was built by Maharaja Sayajirao Gaekwad III in 1906. Today this building houses the office of Municipal Corporation of Baroda.
Vadodara Central is the central place of Vadodara that has the retail outlets of some of the best brands in the world like PVR, Spencers, Inox, KFC, McDonalds, Cine Mall and much more.
Baroda Museum and Picture Gallery is another popular place that you should. This place was built during the 19th century on the lines of Victoria and Albert Science Museum.
