Manali – The Beautiful Destination of India

Manali is located in the northern side of Kullu Vallay in a region called Himachal Pradesh. Manali is a hill station situated at Beas River. Manali is situated approximately 550 km from Delhi. It takes about 14 hours to travel from Delhi to Manali. You can take a ride in the Volvo bus at 5 P.M. The bus will reach Manali around 9 A.M. – 10 A.M.  There is an airport called Bhuntar Airport nearby Manali. You can visit Rohtang Pass. Rohtang Pass is located on an altitude that measures 3979 m above the sea level. While traveling at Rohtang Pass, you can view the beautiful scenery of the mountains.

The Rahala Falls is situated approximately 16 km from Manali.  Rohala Falls is situated on an altitude that measures 2,501 m above the sea level. Old Manali is situated about 3 km nrthwest of Manali.  You can visit Solang Valley, also called Snow Point, in northwest Manali. At Solang Valley, you get to view the glaciers and mountains covered with snow. You can also visit Jagatsukh. Jagatsukh used to be the capital of Manali.

If you want to visit Manali, make sure you book your accommodation early. Booking your accommodation in Manali early allows you to benefit from the great savings.  You need to have passport that is valid if you want to visit Manali. You should make two copies of your travel documents so that you can prove your identity. If you lost your passport, you won’t be able to visit the consulate in the foreign country. You can buy a passport holder in many cities. The holder allows you to keep your frequent flyer.  You can also keep the boarding card in the passport holder. Some countries require tourists to hold visa.  You should check whether a visa is needed to travel to the country.

Tourism in Himachal Pradesh

Kullu Valley: This valley is located a few kilometers from Shimla. This valley is located on the banks of River Ganga and lies on the foots of Himalayas. Khajjiar: This is a popular picnic or getaway spot for the people of Dalhousie and Chamba. This was made as a grazing ground for cattle but soon was transformed into a tourist spot owing to its location.
