The best thing about it was providing air connectivity to the terrorism prone regions of Jammu and Kashmir. It turned out to be a relief for the people residing over there and not having enough money so that they could afford the other, much costlier airlines.
The fleet strength and the management of resources is another amazing factor about the venture. In possession of a modest fleet consisting of 10 Airbus A320-200, they have been working round the clock, more efficiently than others probably with an amazing flight rate. A total of 18 cities have been covered under the services provided by Go Air India, with around 131 flights commencing in a day and a total stacking up to around 931 in a week, which is an extra ordinary achievement is itself.
The success of the firm is not just the result of the efficient management of the airline felt but also due to super simple ways of ticket booking and other factors that play an important role in its skillful. Like many other domestic airline firms, it also employs Radixx International, software used for all the airline related services like for booking, checking in, boarding passes etc.
GoAir Airlines can be considered an able competition to all those high profile major airline carrier services of our country. Since January 2007, it has been recording an excellent average load factor. Average load factor is calculated while many factors as occupancy of seats, customer satisfaction, revenue of the airline etc. And for the year 2007, the average load factor was 86 percentages for it.
Starting its services on a very small scale, GoAir Airlines, has grown through leaps and bounds, not because they had a respectable panel of directors to look after it, but for the sole reason of being able to provide their customers with of the most efficient and passenger friendly air lines service our country has ever seen.
